The Building People are excited to introduce Jeanie Wine as our new Human Resources Manager. Jeanie brings over twenty-five years experience as a manager in all aspects of the human resources life-cycle. As the Human Resources Manager, Jeanie uses her expertise to continue The Building People’s focus on the most important resource—our people. Our goal is to ensure we have the best people practices in place and continue to be one of the best places to work.
For the past ten years, Jeanie was the U.S. Chief Human Resources Officer in a global corporate law firm as they grew to over 5,000 people in over forty offices. In her position she managed all facets of human resources to include employee relations, workforce alignment, recruitment, diversity program management, benefits, human resource information systems, performance management, wellness, citizenship, and administrative support. In her previous position, Jeanie was the first Vice President of Resource and Development with Jane’s Information Group, the renowned London-based open source information company, where she had local office responsibility to include human resources, facilities and operations management, as well serving on the Board.
Jeanie’s consistent collaborative approach and ability to anticipate needs with a hands-on approach make her a key team member in payroll transitions, outsourcing facilities management, human resource information systems automation and office transitions to keep up with the ever changing environment.
Jeanie has a B.S. degree in Management and Human Resources from Park University, and is designated as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Society of Human Resources Management, Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
The Building People is excited to announce the addition of David Cottingham as a Real Estate Portfolio Analyst. David is a graduate of Indiana State University, where he received a BS in Human Resource Development and is currently a candidate for a Masters in Real Estate at Georgetown University with a focus in real estate finance.
After receiving his Bachelor’s degree, David launched his career in real estate as an Escrow Specialist in Northern Virginia and was quickly promoted to Senior Escrow Specialist. In 2007, he built on his real estate experience by learning appraisals and was promoted to Real Estate Appraiser of a large metropolitan jurisdiction where he earned his Certified General Appraiser license in 2015. As an appraiser David specialized in complex residential properties and commercial real estate, working on property types like power plants, sewer and water treatment plants, natural gas pipelines, communication towers, offices, shopping centers and malls located.
We are seeking candidates to provide support to our Federal client in Washington D.C. Candidates should possess experience within the Facilities Management, Real Estate, or IT Project Delivery support areas and have a strong desire to drive innovation and improved business performance. The strongest applicants will demonstrates thorough knowledge of contributing client engagement teams that design and develop business intelligence (BI) and predictive models for data warehouse (DW) information management architecture. Must be able to demonstrates thorough abilities to interact with end users to understand and document business and functional requirements for complex projects, including full software development life cycle, DW/BI/ETL tools and other related technologies (Continue Here).
We would like to introduce you to Charles Dilley, new Managing Director here at The Building People. Charles is a seasoned professional with over 10 years experience specializing in real estate asset management, enterprise application integration, and project life cycle controls for private and public sector clients such as Kaiser Permanente, CenturyLink, and the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). For the past five years, Charles served as a strategic consultant and program manager to the GSA Public Buildings Service (PBS) National Office of Facilities Management and Services Programs where he designed, implemented, and managed key performance measures and operations budgets of over $1.2 Billion in support of national facilities operations, smart buildings, energy, risk management, and sustainability for over 300 million square feet of real estate. At The Building People Charles continues to pursue his goal to advance the connected real estate model in order to influence policy and operational behavior towards the sustainable economic and environmental future we can all be proud of.
RICS will be hosting their 2015 Summit of the America’s event at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles this year. As one of the most recognized organizations in property and construction, this is a must attend event for facilities professionals.
