Employee Q&A: Christine Abod

At The Building People, our people are at the center of everything we do. In this month’s Employee Q&A, we’re excited to introduce Christine Abod, Director of Occupier Services.

Learn more about Christine’s background and role below:

What is your professional background?

30 years in the federal government, where I gained hands‑on experience managing real estate in complex, mission‑driven environments. Leading teams responsible for large, sophisticated facilities required balancing operational demands, regulatory requirements, and long‑term portfolio objectives. Managing expansive campus environments reinforced the importance of integrated operations, strong portfolio management, and continuous optimization in creating efficient, high‑performing workplaces. I now bring that perspective forward, translating government‑sector rigor and scale into practical, value‑driven solutions for the commercial sector.

What is your role at The Building People?

Director of Occupier Services.

Can you tell us about the work you do at The Building People?
