Leesburg, VA, November 20, 2018 – The Building People, LLC. was recently awarded the Building Maintenance and Operations (BMO) Phase I multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. The $15 Billion BMO Phase I contract vehicle has a five-year base term, five option years and another six-month option to extend services. The award of this General Services Administration contract places The Building People among 16 other best-in-class small businesses.

The contract provides Federal customers with access to a short list of the top building maintenance and operations support providers for federal agencies in GSA’s zone 1 (Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington DC).

The GSA BMO Services include: HVAC Maintenance, Plumbing and Pipefitting, Elevator Maintenance, Electrical Maintenance, Fire Alarm System, Maintenance and Repair, Fire Suppression, System Preventative Maintenance and Repair, Roofing Services, Building Management Services, Architectural and Framework Building Maintenance Services, Commissioning Services, Elevator Inspection Services, Janitorial, Landscaping/Grounds Maintenance, Pest Control, Waste Management and Recycling Services.
