Leesburg, VA – May 5th, 2021 – Lawrence Melton has recently joined the Loudoun Education Foundation’s Board of Trustees. Mr. Melton is the CEO & President of The Building People, a recognized leader in real estate and facilities services industry headquartered in Leesburg, Virginia. The vision of the Loudoun Education Foundation (LEF) is to help make Loudoun County the best county in America for K-12 education. LEF promotes innovation in the classroom through teacher grants, teacher scholarships, and other programs that empower teachers to be more innovative in the classroom where they are able to change the world one student at a time. In addition, LEF celebrates excellence within Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) by hosting public events which recognize outstanding performance by teachers, students, and administrators throughout the year.
