The Building People, recently became a certified participant in the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Historically Underutilized Business Zone Program (HUBZone) in Leesburg, VA. Each year the Federal Government has an annual goal of awarding 3% of all federal prime contracts to HUBZone-certified small business concerns. As a proud member of the Town of Leesburg’s small business community for more than 2 years, The Building People is excited to participate in the program and play a key role in Loudoun County’s growing small business community.  Participants with  HUBZone Certifications  have the opportunity to receive competitive and sole source contracts with the Federal Government.
