Trevor Morrison is Vice President of Energy, Smart Buildings & Sustainability Services at The Building People. Trevor leads the energy resilience and smart buildings portfolio for The Building People, specializing in Master Systems Integration design and implementations in the federal and MUSH sectors. Believing in leading the clean energy transition by optimizing the existing built environment, his approaching integrations in “systems of systems” approach, tying the operation of existing building, lighting, metering, physical access, and life safety controls to business operation platforms such fault detection, integrated workforce management systems (IWMS), asset management, and financial management systems.
Under Trevor’s stewardship, The Building People’s portfolio includes an award winning MSI and operations center project for the General Services Administration (covering more than 30 million Sq Ft of largely Federal Agency Headquarter space), solution architecture design and implementation support for NAVFAC’s Smart Grid Platform, and MSI Integration for the FBI. His energy and data center portfolio includes Portfolio Master Planning for the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) and Veterans Affairs.
Prior to his work at The Building People, Trevor led several firms specializing in energy consulting, renewable energy and life-cycle costing analysis, and sustainable construction.
Trevor received his MBA, Business from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), and Data Center Efficiency Practitioner (DCEP)
